Who we are and where we came from
Dr. Hall-Schwarz is pleased to announce the commencement of her Private Practice in Therapeutic Counseling for Individuals, Couples, Families, and Group Psychotherapy.
Dr. Hall-Schwarz is a psychotherapist whose work includes preperation of treatment plans and evaluations with physicians and other health care providers. She has worked extensively with adolescents and adults in hospital settings and community-based programs that serves severly abused, neglected, and mentally ill individuals. She has worked with adolescents and adult women whom have experienced mental and physical abuse.
Dr. Hall-Schwarz gained much of her insight and experience from Seton Shoal Creek Psychiatric Hospital, Salvation Army Homeless Shelter, Family Violence Protective Services, and the Battered Women's Shelter.
Dr. Hall-Schwarz regularly consults with treatment facilities concerning in-patient treatment as well as aftercare planning and rehabilititation.
Dr. Hall-Schwarz serves on the panel for the Child Advocacy Center for therapy and is a member of the Williamson County Child Welfare Board.
Credentials: Doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision, with a minor in Marriage & Family Therapy from St. Mary's University. Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) National Certified Counselor (NCC) , EMDR Trained (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Certified as an Anger Resolution Therapist (CART) Masters in Social/Psych with a certification in Conflict Resolution from St. Edwards University. Licensed Professional Counselor Certified in Anger Resolution Therapy
